It contains a letter addressed to the revolutionary and progressive forces of Latin America and the Caribbean, signed by the General Secretaries of five Communist Parties, Patricio Echegaray of Argentina, Narciso Isa Conde of the Dominican Republic, Humberto Vargas Carbonell of Costa Rica, Rigoberto Padilla Rush of Honduras and Schafik Jorge Hándal of El Salvador, General Secretary of the Communist Party of El Salvador, Commander of the Armed Forces of Liberation and member of the General Command of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN), in which they emphasize the validity of the tasks of the revolution, dated May 1990, unreferenced.
