This collection consists of scanned copies of various writings penned by Schafik Handal, leader of the Communist Party and FMLN in El Salvador who was of Bethlehemite origins. The collections includes various articles, speeches, notes and communications written by Schafik, as well as signed copies of the 1992 peace accords and a series of postcards he received from well known political and cultural figures.
The collection is part of the wider Schafik Hándal Collections and contains descriptions in both English and Spanish.
