Description
This is a digital reproduction of an icon depicting three Saints: St. Sabbas, St. Barbara, and St. Spiridon at the lower part of the icon of Saint Nicholas, held in the old cave connected to St. George Church which is under St. Nicholas Church, Beit Jala, a short distance from Bethlehem. The icon is painted in the Byzantine Style and covered by a silver colour embossed metal cover. The icon is famed and is located at the front wall of the cave. The size of this section of the icon is approx. 54 X 25 cm. The Greek inscription reads: "St. Sabbas", "St. Barbara", and "St. Spiridon".
