This is a digital reproduction of the Epitaphios, which is an icon depicting the dead body of Jesus Christ, at St. Nicholas Church, Beit Jala, a short distance from Bethlehem. The Epitaphios is an embroidered and richly adorned cloth, with the body of Jesus painted in the Russian Style. It is located at the southern wall of the church in front of the Iconostasis. The size is 140 X 90 cm.
