This is a digital reproduction of an icon depicting three of the greatest theologians in the Church's history: St. Basil the Great, John Chyrstostom, and Gregory the Theologian. The icon is held in St. Nicholas Church, Beit Jala, a short distance from Bethlehem. The icon is painted in the Jerusalem Style of the late 19th and early 20th century and is located at the church iconostasis, 1st row from the top, 6th icon to the right side of the main icon of the Crucifixion. The size is 37 X 28 cm. The Greek inscription reads: "the Three Great Hierarchs" and below "Gift from the custodian Rev. Seraphim, 1850".
