Description
This is a digital photograph depicting the right side of the iconostasis of St. Nicholas Church, Beit Jala, a short distance from Bethlehem. The iconostasis is made of the local Jerusalem stone and icons that are painted in the Jerusalem Style of the late 19th and early 20th century. The top of the iconostasis, just below the frieze, the Arabic calligraphy inscription reads the Troparion of Saint Nicholas and the date "1925".
