Description
This is a digital reproduction of a wall painted icon depicting The Pantocrator, held in St. Nicholas Church, Beit Jala, a short distance from Bethlehem.The icon is painted in the Jerusalem Style of the late 19th and early 20th century and is located at the top inside part of the dome of the church. It was renovated in 2009 by Ian Knowles. The Arabic inscription reads: "The Pantocrator" and "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Sabaoth, Heaven and earth are full of the majesty of thy Glory"
