This is a digital reproduction of an image held in the Library of Congress. This image depicts a closer view of the Wadi Arrub aqueduct cut into the rock which runs along the South East hill. They were part of a complex ancient water system that comprised acqueducts and springs. The lower pool can be seen in distance.
