Title
George Farhat to Katrina Sa'ade, 13 May 1937
Description
The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny. George Farhat (Katrina Sa'ade's oldest son) writes to his mother from Palestine and recounts the violence he has experienced at the hands of his father Suleiman Farhat. He states that he has been forced to quit school and work as a field worker and that his father is soon to be married to a woman from Gaza. George asks his mother to sort out his papers and send him money so he can return to California to be with Katrina and his siblings. See 'relation' for more letters on this matter.
